February 4, 2013 A SuperHero Party

I have a love/hate relationship with planning my childeren's birthday parties. I love to brainstorm, love to peruse Pinterest for ideas, love to craft the fun little details. I hate that there is never enough time, hate that all 3 of them have birthdays in the fall/early winter when I seem to be busiest trying to wrap up wedding season, and hate that I always seem to be doing too much at the last minute to truly enjoy the event. Isaac turned 7 in September, and Clark turned 4 in October. I normally try to throw their parties together (while they will still let me!) since they are only 7 weeks apart. This year the party got pushed back to November, but I was determined to still throw a fun fete. Better late than never, right? I and C are obsessed with SuperHeroes lately, and the party's theme was never

So as you know, I have been flying under the radar for about a month now... but not because I haven't been working. Actually, exactly the opposite. I now know:  3 weeks with no sleep + 2 inspired (albeit a little bit crazy) people + 72 pages of our heart and soul= 1 Beautiful Magazine! Kara Garber and I have officially launched our first magazine together, and we are so excited about it!!! This guide is an idea that we have been tossing around for a few months. We wanted to give back to something important, and we have just the cause. Barb is an incredibly selfless woman, and she has financially taken orphans from Uganda under her wing with a small amount of resources and  a huge faith in God. We are giving part of the proceeds from every issue to the orphanage that Barb has built with her love

This year we got to be  a part of Troy Streets Alive in downtown Troy, Ohio. It was so inspiring being surrounded by so many other artists of all kinds. Each block was lined with painters, potters, musicians, and many more. We got to meet lots of cool, new people; and give tours of our studio! We so inspired that we couldn't resist the chance to document this wonderful evening! Check it out! Come see all the amazing artists next year at Troy Streets Alive! xoxo molly & rachel

I can't believe my baby sister is a senior this year. She has grown up so much. You can see her sweet personality and gentle heart shining in these photos, but don't let that fool you. She is the biggest troublemaker of the five of us. ; ) These photos were taken on our family's properties. My Uncle Frank's house with our favorite horse, Star; and my Grandpa Fred's old house where so many sweet memories were made. Congrats little sister. I'm so proud of you! xoxo molly & rachel

These little munchkins are some of my favorites. Cole and Haley are so much fun to be around. Their smiles can light up a room in an instant. Not to mention, their contagious giggles. :)   Haley's lovely vintage dress has been in the family for decades; worn by grandmothers and her mother, Marcy. How fun to see the tradition carried on in these next photos. You can't help but smile, can you? :) xoxo molly & rachel
